Sew ‘n Sews

dresses
The Sew ‘n Sews are a dedicated group that make dresses for the Dress A Girl Around the World project. They meet every week Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00pm and Fridays from 9:00-11:00am. To date we have made more than 6,500 dresses all using donated supplies. You don’t need to know how to sew to help, we have many who measure, cut, and assemble all the pieces for each dress. However, if you’re interested in learning to sew these dresses are a very simple pattern and we’d be happy to teach you! We’re always accepting donations of cotton fabric (sheets, pillow cases, or any other 100% cotton fabric) as well as thread and lace. Everyone supports this ministry with our prayers when we bless the dresses before sending them out.
