Administration

The Board of Trustees, the Staff-Parish Relations Committee, and the Finance Team are the three administrative boards that care for the business of our church. Below are brief descriptions of what each committee does.

Trustee: Effective Trustees are Christian stewards of the property God has entrusted to the congregation. Effective trustees supervise and maintain the property of the congregation to ensure that disciple-making ministries of the congregation are effective and that local legal requirements related to the property are satisfied.

Staff-Parish Relations Committee: This committee works with the lead and other staff so that the staff can work effectively in managing the ministry of the congregation for making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. An effective committee will fulfill legal and ethical responsibilities related to staff.

Finance Team: An effective finance committee proposes a budget; then raises, manages, and distributes the financial resources of the congregation to support and strengthen the mission and ministry of the congregation.

Church Council: About every other month representatives from every team meet to plan and discuss the overall ministry of the church. Everyone is welcome to attend this meetings, not just committee chairs or reps. It’s a great time of planning and discussion.
