Christian Education

Our children are one of our most precious resources. We have a team of volunteers who teach and help with our weekly Sunday School and other special events for our children. Every Sunday teachers meet with the children in our upstairs Kids’ Room after the children’s time in worship. There they read a Bible story, do a craft or play a game, and talk about how the story relates to our lives today.

Kids are always welcome in worship! We have spaces for kids to be comfortable and engaged with worship and every week Pastor Corey has a time of teaching just for the kids.

We also have a staffed nursery for our youngest members. Babies, toddlers, or any child who would like, are invited upstairs to play with our nursery volunteers during worship.

We require anyone working with children to be a part of our community for a year first and then submit a background check. Everyone who works with children and youth follow the United Methodist Safe Sanctuary policies.
